Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, and cross-listed in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Victoria (UVic). I like conceiving and developing novel research questions primarily rooted in econometrics, statistics, and machine learning. My current research concentrates on building and developing a broad variety of modal and mode-based regression models and investigating their statistical inference with possible applications.

My work has been supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) of Canada, along with other funding sources.
