Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, and cross-listed in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Victoria (UVic).

I am passionate about conceiving and advancing new methodological directions in econometrics, statistics, and machine learning. My current work advances modal and mode-based regression while also integrating machine learning methods into statistical frameworks to address high-dimensional, complex, and real-world data problems.

My work has been supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada, the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada, along with other funding sources.
