Welcome to my website!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, and cross-listed in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Victoria (UVic). I like conceiving and developing novel research questions primarily rooted in econometrics, statistics, and machine learning. My current research concentrates on building and developing a broad variety of modal and mode-based regression models and investigating their statistical inference with possible applications.

My work has been supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (2025-2030), the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (2023-2025), along with other funding sources.
